Personal Experiences and Honors:

I attended Duke University on a football scholarship, competing on the gridiron and also in track and field. After graduation, I served as Personnel Manager of Cedar Point, a resort corporation that employed over 3000 seasonal and permanent employees in Ohio. After a couple of years of working in the business world, I realized that I missed the education environment and went back to school to complete my Masters Degree in Education, specializing in Guidance and Counseling. I then entered the field of Education and spent the next 30 years as a teacher, guidance counselor, coach and now an education consultant helping thousands of students and their parents.

During that time I also coached high school football for 15 years at all levels, and track for 20 years – including being ahead coach for 16 years.

Additional honors include: Sandusky High School Hall of Fame Member, Sandusky, Ohio, Football and Track, inducted 1993; First Team All-Ohio high school center; All-American (Honorable Mention) high school center in Coach and Athlete Magazine and Scholastic Magazine; All-American performer in the discus, 1968, high school, U.S. Track and Field News Magazine.
